Can collectors discuss my debts with my minor children?

Collection Stopper Video FAQ

For the purposes of this question, we'll consider anyone under 18 to be the minor child. Under the FDCPA you are not allowed to contact third parties regarding a debt. Contacting a minor child is illegal and the debt collector has no business discussing your debts with your children or anyone else that is not on the debt.
